About

Richard Stark has written for a variety of publications; including articles for weekly and daily newspapers, historic entries in a true-crime encyclopedia, feature stories and profiles a winery magazine and weekly emails for his marathon training business, Running Arizona. Along with writing and training marathoners, Richard creates beach-inspired art from wood for Fun & Beachy in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

In his latest book, Richard Stark relied on his love of creating entertainment for office workers and others for decades. His recreation of the Olympic Games began when he and his brother hosted the Summer Games for all the kids in their neighborhood, complete with tinfoil medals. Several bosses through the years went from skeptical, eyebrow-raisers to very enthusiastic, competitive-participators; and at-home party guests have always enjoyed doing something more than sitting around watching others take part in sporting events.
